Brass is a highly sustainable, eco-friendly material. It can be recycled over and over again without losing its composition. It's also more energy-efficient compared to other materials. 

Did you know that brass is a combination of copper and zinc? It's got the antimicrobial properties of copper, but doesn't tarnish as quickly and doesn't rust. 

A community favourite, the weight of this pen enhances the writing experience. The brass will naturally form a unique patina over time through oxidization, but can be cleaned to bring back the shine if you prefer.

Designed for Pilot G2 refills and ships with one included, but other similar format refills can work.

Finally Found my HG Pen!!!

I’ve been looking for a minimal, weighty pen for months. I love Sharpie S-Gel ink but dislike the grip on the pen itself… When I got this one I was a little worried the cartridge wouldn’t fit because S-Gel and G2 cartridges are slightly different but it worked PERFECTLY with my S-Gel 0.5 ink and using the included G2 spring. It fits my hand perfectly, is beautifully heavy, and now has my favorite ink in it - an absolute game changer of a pen, I’m in love!

Excellent pen

I knew it would be great, and I was right. I love the weight, and the simplicity of the design. I've been using it for a couple weeks now and it's already started a nice patina that's giving it a worked in look. I'm going to have fun trying out different ink refills with it.

So many things to rave about - I'm so happy!

I bought a weekly planner and two note books, and I am SO impressed with the quality of their construction, how beautiful they are, and how perfectly the planner helps me bring structure into my life. I find planning my weeks to be a very calming experience for the first time ever! I look forward to writing in my planner and i want to bring it with me everywhere cause it's so pretty. Additionally, the writing prompts at the begining of the planner and at the start and end of each month have helped me to feel more clear and in touch with myself.
I'm honestly obsessed with all of my purchases from Hemlock & Oak and am sure I'll be a life-long customer. Also love that they are based in Canada and their products are made in Canada too!
