The paper is luxurious and the layout works well for my needs.
This is my second planner from Hemlock and Oak - my first was a dated daily. I love the look and design of the planners and the quality is amazing. They are expensive, but for me, the price is worth it.
I have to say that my preference is for the dated daily. I do enough long term planning for work that it is easier to have the pages already dated. I would use any blank pages for notes or lists. I would use the undated for a journal.
One other note - my use of the planners is quite functional and not at all picture worthy.

The book itself is lovely and well-crafted but not pretentious. It features the best organization for planning that I've yet come across. Whether I'm planning my day or mapping out longer-term goals, this book provides the structure and inspiration to stay on track. I look forward to a fresh 2025 Daily Planner.

Honestly, everything I was looking for: chic, practical, thick paper (no bleeding even with felt pens).
There was a small mistake (forgot to pack highlights stickers) in my order and a HUMAN answered my email within 6 hours, stickers were at my door the next day with a HANDWRITTEN Apology. This is next level customer service, for a next level quality product.
